There is no nationwide minimum size for pike in Swedish inland waters above migration barriers. The applicable provisions — minimum and maximum sizes, permitted harvest and a closed season in spring — are set by the relevant Fiskevårdsområde. On the coast and in the five large lakes, the national rules of Havs- och vattenmyndigheten also apply.
