Skräbeåns FVF Rules The fishing license must be worn clearly visible. Fishing licenses issued via the web must be able to be presented on a mobile phone or as a printed text message/email. It is the responsibility of every fisherman to comply with the following regulations: 1. Fishing may not begin until a fishing license has been issued. A fishing license is required for everyone over the age of 15. Young people under the age of 15 are allowed to fish freely during the period: 1/4 - 31/8. It should be made clear that identification must be brought and must be able to be shown by the youth. In addition, young people who have not turned 15 years old can fish "freely" in the company of a parent who has purchased a fishing license. This applies to the 1st Saturday in February - 30/9 for valid Day Pass, Season Pass and Annual Pass. A common catch quota applies here. 2. Fishing is only allowed downstream of the road bridge in Nymölla and on a marked stretch in Bromölla. 3. Fishing is only permitted from the first Saturday in February until September 30th. 4. Salmon & trout smaller than 55 cm and larger than 70 cm must be released . 6. Max 1 fish (salmon, trout) per person per day. Seasonal quota 3 pcs (Salmon, trout) . After 1 fish is killed, fishing must be stopped. This also applies to parent/child fishing with a fishing license, ONE (1) fish killed will end the fishing. However, if you choose to release caught fish, you can continue fishing, but the fish must be handled carefully. When released, the fish must remain in the water and must not be lifted above the water surface. Please read Handling and releasing a fish (sveaskog.se) During the month of September, all Trout and Salmon must be returned/released, regardless of condition! It is then permitted to fish with a lure or fly that has only/a maximum of ONE (1) treble hook! NOTE! This also applies to fishing with wobblers! The hook must be of "normal" size and the distance between hook tips must not be greater than 20 mm! Larger treble hooks on a line or fly will be interpreted as PULLING FISHING by the Supervisors! 7. Eel fishing prohibited. 8. Fishing may only be done with one rod per fisherman. 9. Fishing may only be done from land and by wading. Fishing from boats and footbridges is prohibited. 10. Jerk fishing is prohibited. 11. Littering is prohibited. 12. Salmon, Trout, Rainbow trout, Zander and Pike do not belong to the catcher until they are registered. Even released Trout and Salmon must be registered. Registration takes place in the iFiske app and/or at the parking lot in Nymölla or at Möllan in Bromölla. Fishermen who do not register their catch after finishing fishing will be immediately banned from further fishing in Skräbeån. 13. Fishermen who behave in a disruptive manner on the river may be banned from further fishing, as may fishermen who violate other rules. Catches and gear may also be confiscated. 14. We apply a control fee of 800:- for violations of the association's rules. 15. All illegal fishing is reported to the police. The Board of Directors in February 2025.
