Drängsjön

Österåkers SFK (Drängsjön) Fishing rules: Those who fish in ÖSFK's waters of Drängsjön are responsible for informing themselves about the rules that apply and following them. See information boards and www.osfk.org. ÖSFK leases the fishing in Drängsjön from Österåker Municipality and a number of private water rights owners. Certain rules are a condition for fishing in the lake to be allowed. If you are fishing, you must always be able to show that you have a valid fishing license before you start fishing . Violations of fishing regulations will be prosecuted. All fishing is at your own risk. Children/young people under 18 years of age fish for free if they are members of ÖSFK or if they are fishing in the company of a paying adult. In Drängsjön the following special rules apply: * Catch limit: For the time being, a maximum of 2 salmonid fish per fisherman/day/card applies. (NB! When the catch quota has been reached, fishing must be stopped. A new card may not be purchased until the time for the last purchased card has expired. Annual card holders may not purchase another type of card in order to increase their catch quota.) * Mandatory catch reporting. * Max 1 hand gear per fisherman. * Powerbait or equivalent and Tiger Shrimp are prohibited as bait. *Mashing is not allowed. * When fishing with baited hooks, only single hooks are permitted. * Fishing with hangers is not permitted. * Respect fishing limits and prohibited areas. Show consideration for other fishermen, bathers and private property owners. Land fishing is only permitted in the northern and eastern parts of the lake. For the part of the lake where land fishing is prohibited, fishing from boats or from ice closer than 50 m from land is also prohibited. * Boat fishing is only allowed from the club's member boats (6). Float rings, kayaks or other floating devices are not allowed in the lake. Motors (electric or gasoline) are not allowed (Member boats are available to members and are booked separately via boka.se. Max. 2 adults + 2 children under 15 years of age per boat.)
