Sfk Lilla Fiskelyckan i Nedre Rudan Rules for fishing on Nedre Rudan, read these before you start fishing. Fishing license required All fishing without a valid personal fishing license is prohibited by law, it is the fisherman's responsibility to check which rules apply to each lake. Generally in Sweden there is no free fishing in lakes with the exception of the 4 largest lakes. Card + receipt + identification must be shown upon inspection. Fishing ban Total ban 16 Nov – 31 Dec. Fly fishing: Jig: Fishing: Fishing rod only (max 5 m), 1 rod/person, single hook only. Only baits such as worms, shrimp or maggots. Catching rules Maximum 6 retained fish per person per calendar week (Monday–Sunday) Max 2 salmonid fish per day Max 3 day passes per person per week or max 6 morning or afternoon passes per person per week Pike over 90 cm must be released back. Re-release permitted only if the fish is unharmed, with a barbless single hook, released into the water with a hook. Re-release of fish caught with a barbed hook is prohibited and may result in the withdrawal of membership and fishing license. Forbidden Crayfish fishing. Dead carp – should always be released regardless of condition, the fish should be handled with care. Power Bait and similar, all baits with fragrance Maize Mashing All forms of motorized aids are prohibited with the exception of ice augers. Float ring and boat Only floating rings with leg power are allowed and only fly fishing from floating rings. Dragging a bait behind the ring is not allowed. Boats or other floating devices (including canoes/rubber boats) are prohibited – only blue lights/county administrative board/municipality may use them. Membership and annual pass In order to redeem and use an annual pass in the club, a valid membership in the association is required. Membership must be paid and active during the entire period that the annual pass is valid. As a member of the club, you also become a member of Sportfiskarna through the association. The annual pass is also valid for the member's partner/spouse and children under 13 years of age, provided that the fishing takes place together with the cardholder. Supervision Checks are carried out daily by the club. Violations of the rules may result in the fishing license being revoked. Poaching without a valid fishing license is a crime that can lead to a police report and expensive fines.
