Sundsvalls Sportfiskeklubb FISHING RULES from 2023-01-01 In general, the following applies to ALL our waters: Allowed fishing methods: fly, spinning, angling and ice fishing. When fishing and jigging, maggots, worms and shrimp are allowed in the club's leased waters. All other bait is prohibited. Fishing is permitted with only 1 rod per person – fishing must be done with a rod carried by hand. Fishing gear that is rigged and left behind will be confiscated and reported to the police under the Fishing Act (illegal fishing). Fishing with nets, gillnets, and fixed gear/slings is prohibited. All our waters except Sidsjön require a fishing license or membership card/fishing license. In Djupsjön, Öravattnet and Knivtjärn, children/young people up to 15 years of age fish in the company of a guardian/adult on their fishing license and quota (3 fish together). Young people without adult company must therefore purchase their own fishing license in these lakes. In other waters, young people under 18 years of age fish without a fee/fishing license. You can get a fishing license at iFiske. Deep Lake Fishing ban from stocking fish in late autumn, date to be announced separately. The ban applies until the ice fishing premiere. Number of fish see fishing license Winter fishing is conducted on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Any extended opening hours, such as during school holidays and long weekends, will be announced on the website and Facebook. Summer fishing every day 6am - midnight from the time there is open water until the autumn ban. Fishing from boats, canoes and float rings is prohibited. Fishing from fishing kayaks and float rings is permitted (from September 2022 and until further notice) only applies to Selångerfjärden. Selångerån/Sättnaån/Sulån You may catch a maximum of 3 salmonid fish per day. Fishing from boats, canoes and float rings is prohibited. Fishing ban from September 15 to October 31. Other waters (defined on our website, our waters, map 17) Fishing from boats, canoes and float rings is permitted.
