Fagersta Kommun FISHING RULES LARGE/SMALL PERCH POND Fishing license • Only 1 fishing license is valid at the time of fishing and a maximum of 1 fishing license per person per day. • The fishing license is personal. • Valid identification must be presented together with the fishing license for personnel employed by Fagersta Municipality. • A child under 15 years of age may fish in the company of a guardian if the guardian has a valid fishing license. • For fishing licenses purchased electronically, the voucher/receipt must be carried and can be presented while fishing. Period of validity • When purchasing an electronic fishing license, the times are listed on the voucher/receipt. • All cards are date cards, (only valid for the date the card is issued) Fishing rod • 1 rod may be used. NOTE Changed to 1 rod • Fishing rods must not be left unattended. • No fishing gear other than a rod may be used. • In Lilla Abborrtjärn only fly rods may be used. Fish • Max 3pcs / fishing license Fishing • Boats or other floating craft prohibited. • Hooked game fish must be recorded and counted on the fishing license. Violation • All illegal fishing is reported to the police. • Violations of regulations at the lake will result in fishing equipment being confiscated and handed over to the police. Other • Handle fire at barbecue areas carefully, at your own risk. • Only marked fire pits may be used. • Any litter must be taken with you as there are no rubbish bins. A new law in the Environmental Code came into force on 10 July 2014 which means that you can be fined for littering in public places. This applies, for example, if you leave fast food packaging or a disposable barbecue behind. NOTE!! All littering at the lake will be reported to the police.
