Hökensås Sportfiske Baltakområdet Regulations Baltak: Only fly fishing with a fly rod, fly line and a fly is allowed. A maximum of three flies may be attached to the rod. Baited or scented hooks are not allowed. Jigs are not allowed. Pre baiting is not allowed. Boats, canoes, belly boats etc. are not allowed within the fishing area when fishing. Wading is forbidden in Zone 2 and Zone 4. The fishing permit is personal and shall be worn visibly with name, date and other specifications written on it, before the fishing starts. For everybody’s comfort please respect other visitors and people living within the area. A sport fisherman changes fishing places continuously and does not mark them unnecessarily. Do not throw garbage into the environment. Fishing lines can harm wild life. Nothing is to be left behind - all garbage must be thrown into one of the waste containers within the fishing area. Fire places are to be found along the river, disposable barbeques shall be placed in a fire place, not on the ground. During the period between the 1th of October until the 30th of November no brown trout is to be killed. If you catch a brown trout it shall be returned with great care immediately. Rainbow trout is to be caught and killed. The minimum measure for brown trout is 50 cm. A maximum of three salmonids are to be killed per day permit or two per afternoon permit. The permit is invalid after its quota has been filled. Further fishing requires purchase of a new permit. Day permit is valid between 06.00 - 24.00 Afternoon permit is valid between 15.00 - 24.00 Fishing without valid permit will be prosecuted as unlawful fishing, and the fishing equipment may be confiscated. Breaking, or ignoring the rules about operational regulations may result in termination of the fishing right. Ten purchased permits, during the same year, give one permit for free. The available fishing stretch is located on the river Tidan from Baltak fisheries approximately 3 km down south from Tidaholm in the direction of Falköping. The fishing area is marked with plates. The crossing of boundaries is not allowed. Be aware that fishing for crayfish may take place. All fishing is at your own risk. Wade sensibly in zone 1 and 3.
