Sportfiskarna Trollhättan/Vänersborg (Lillån) Rules for Lillån's fly fishing 4 Fly fishing only! CATCH & RELEASE ONLY Rules for Lillån's fly fishing 2023 In order to redeem a fishing license for Lillån's fly fishing , membership in Sportfiskarna Trollhättan Vänersborg is required or that you fish as a guest with a member. Both who fish must then redeem day passes. - It is limited to 6 fishing licenses per day divided between 3 Adults and 3 Youth. Fishing licenses are booked and redeemed through I-fiske ( www.ifiske.se ). Lillån is open for rainbow fishing all year round. All trout are protected throughout the season. Fishing aimed at trout is prohibited. - The fishing license is personal and costs SEK 150 per day for Adults and SEK 75 per day for Youth and is valid from 06.00 to 21.00 on the same day. Only 1 card per person. Youth is counted up to and including the year you turn 18. Adult over 18 years - Fishing license applies to Lillån's entire stretch from Kassartorpet where the river begins and all the way down to the dam foundation just below the bridge at Önafors. - Fishing is conducted with a barbless hook and only as Catch & Release. Consider careful handling when reintroducing fish. Use a net and, if possible, hook the fish in the water. All trout must be released unconditionally. - Only traditional fly fishing with a fly rod and floating fly line is allowed, where a fly may be used (no natural bait or scent on the fly) - Fishing is prohibited on the right bank (in the direction of the water current) in the upper part of the river where there are buildings along the river. - Allotment must not be entered! - There are horse paddocks on the left bank (in the direction of the current of the water) in the upper part of the river, remember to use the gates when you go through there and behave calmly and respectfully towards the animals. - Fishing takes place without wading in the river (no floating vessels such as float rings or kayaks are allowed). - For everyone's comfort, take the rubbish home! - Do not disturb other fishermen and do not occupy fishing grounds unnecessarily. - Fires are prohibited at Lillån except at organized fire places.
