Applies to fishing in Lake Mjörn with the exception of certain water areas, see map. You must have an identity document and fishing license to fish in Mjörn, this must always be carried when fishing. Maximum number of rods: 6 in total per boat When two or more people fish from the same boat and more than one gear is used, a fishing license is required for each participant or a valid annual license for the boat operator in combination with the additional boat license card. If you are caught fishing without a valid fishing license or if you have fished and killed an eel, you will be punished according to Swedish law. If you break the other rules, a control fee (10% of the price base amount) will be issued on the spot by the fishing inspector. In order to increase comfort, consideration should be given to lakeside residents and it is a matter of course that landowners are asked before starting to fish from the beach and jetties.
