The card is valid for hand gear fishing and trolling with a maximum of two rods, as well as for ice fishing with a maximum of 10 fishing rods or ice bait rods. The board urges careful handling of all fish to promote fish stocks and ensure good fishing in the future. If you want to take back caught fish, the following maximum catch per fishing license/species/day applies: Two (2) pikes. All pikes over 80 cm must be released. Two (2) pike-perch. All pike-perch over 70 cm must be released. Pike-perch fishing in water deeper than eight (8) meters is prohibited. There is a pike-perch fishing ban from May 15 to June 15. The fishing ban for trout applies throughout the year as the trout stock is building up. All fishing in Sämån is prohibited.
