Ydrefiske ÖSTRA LÄGERN - Fishing License Guidelines Permitted gear Fishing license holders can fish with bait, jigs or lures with a rod or fly rod. Maximum two lines per card. Trolling with deep rigs or any form of paravane is not permitted. Prohibited fishing methods Using Live echo-sounder is prohibited. The fishing may not use a hook tool that is adapted to hook into the fish. The rules do not prohibit the use of a grab hook to grab fish that was caught by other fishing gear. Also, Floating lines with hooks, the "Ytutter" and "lodutter" tools are prohibited: Catch Limit Catching of trout is prohibited from 1st of May 2023 until 30th of April 2028 (5 years). All trout caught must be released. Other species: no limit. The Other rules Fishing may not be conducted closer than 50m from a private dock or residence unless special permission is obtained from the owner. Fishing is not allowed in the proximity of fishing nets or other fishing gear that may be damaged. The fishing license holder is responsible to keep informed of trout fishing seasons and which areas are closed to trout fishing. The license holder must be aware of when access is permitted to specific nature and bird protection areas. The fishing license must be in your possession during your fishing trip and must be shown at the request of police, the fisheries supervisor or water-rights owners. The fishing license is personal and non-transferable. Children under 13 do not need a fishing license. Note: Olstorp creek between Västra and Östra Lägern is located in a nature reserve and is not included in our fishing area. Random controls are made to ensure that you have a valid fishing card/license, and that general rules set by the proprietor’s society are followed. If fishing card is missing, we will with no exception submit and charge a card valid for one year at SEK 500 / person or SEK 600 / family, alternatively an errand/report will be handed over to the police for legal action. In case we find that you are not following general rules i.e. fishing with too many rods, unauthorized gear or that "wrong" fish (size and species) have been caught, a control fee of SEK 500 is charged. In case of serious violations, an errand/report will be handed over to the police for legal action. Respect Nature - do not litter! Be careful with fire. It is forbidden to light fires in the forrest. Coose preferably rock or gravel on the shore close to the water. .
