Värmlands Karpförening ***Important INFO*** We are afraid of our fish. If you have fished in another water before Forstjärn, it is required that the equipment that is in contact with water has been properly sun-dried or disinfected before fishing begins in order not to risk the spread of possible diseases. Disinfectant Virkon S can be bought, for example, from the neighboring farm, follow the instructions carefully. - Appointed supervisors are responsible for following the fishing rules below. Fishing license and equipment must be shown on request - Should a carp get stuck on a drill, there are boats to borrow, these may only be used to unload and land the fish safely , after which it must be placed back in its place. Information about boats is obtained when a fishing license is purchased. - Fishing rules can be changed on an ongoing basis and must always be read through before the start of fishing. Fishing rules 1. For fishing for carp, a valid fishing license or annual membership in the association is required, see info under https://www.ifiske.se/fiske-forstjarn.htm 2. All carp caught must be returned to the water unharmed. Every catch of carp is reported via e-mail [email protected] , with a clear picture of both sides of the fish attached. The following must be stated in the report (Catch date, Name, Fishing license number/membership, Weight, Length, Swim, Bait) 3. When fishing, there must be at least one knotless carp net, a well-sized unhooking mat and a water container (bucket or similar) to keep the fish wet during handling. 4. Tents may only be erected on excellent swims, see the map for further info. Grilling may only take place in the provided grill, respect the fire ban and leave no grill residue by the lake. 5. Fishing may take place with a maximum of 3 rods per person at a time, regardless of whether you are bottom fishing, float fishing or stalking fish. A maximum of 2 people can fish per swim at the same time. 6. Fishing may take place within a reasonable casting distance from the selected swim, common sense applies and always respect fishermen on adjacent swims. No night fishing from the red marked strip of land (See map). Do not place baits near obstacles, such as piers or fallen trees where the fish can get stuck. 7. Boats/inflatables or other vehicles on the water are not permitted. Baitboat is allowed, but common sense applies. The bait must be placed within a reasonable casting distance, not closely visible obstacles and that it does not disturb other fishermen. If the adjacent swims are free, stalking fishing may take place where the fish can be landed safely, but if you leave the swim, the rods that are being fished must first be reeled in. Never leave the rod unattended. 8. Collect all trash in a trash bag during the fishing session and take it with you when you finish fishing, regardless of whether it was you who littered or not. Littering must also not take place during the fishing pass, regardless of whether you intend to take it with you afterwards. 9. Bagging of fish may only take place for a short time to prepare for weighing and photography. In any case, secure the fish properly and keep it under close supervision at frequent intervals. 10. Read through instructions for safe fish handling before fishing. You can find these as a downloadable file on our info page https://www.ifiske.se/fiske-forstjarn.htm 11. Use common sense, correctly sized equipment and only safety rigs that the fish can get rid of in the event of a line break or the like. If you are unsure about something, feel free to ask via e-mail [email protected] and we will respond as quickly as we can. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including 15 years of age only in the company of a guardian who holds a valid fishing license (on his quota).
