Leduåns FVOF Generally: Children/youth up to 16 years of age fish for free when accompanied by a guardian. We would love for you to report your catches! All trout must be released! Inspection fees: Killing of sea trout 1500 SEK. Fishing during the ban period for sea trout 1500 SEK. Fishing with fixed gear 1500 SEK. Fishing season: Fishing for trout is permitted from 1/5 to 31/8, fishing is prohibited at other times. Fishing ban applies to all stretches of the Leduån River between the lakes. All lakes within the Leduåns FVO are therefore open for fishing year-round and are not affected by fishing bans. All trout caught in the lakes must be released. Methods: Fixed equipment not allowed. Mask ban in areas with currents (between lakes). Only use one hook on the bait or fly when fishing in the Leduån River, this ensures gentler handling when releasing fish. Catch restrictions: Fishing ban in tributaries. Other rules: Refrain from trout fishing when the water is above 18 degrees! When the water is warm, the fish are more stressed when fishing and the risk of fungal diseases is high. Don't handle the fish with dry hands. When releasing the fish, leave it in the water while you carefully remove the hook with a pair of pliers or pliers. Hold the fish with its head against the current so that fresh water can oxygenate the gills. Make sure the fish can "stand on its own" before you let go of it. Thank you for your consideration!
