Sorselefisket Generally: Special water 1st part of the Laisälven. Fly fishing route: Fly fishing only and all Trout, Grayling and Salmon must be released. Fishing from your own boat only in Nedre Gautsträsk. Fishing season: General grayling fishing ban from 15/3 to 31/5 to protect grayling spawning. 15/9 to 31/10 general trout fishing ban. 15/9 to 31/12 general salmon fishing ban Methods: General rules that apply to ALL waters: Prohibition of fishing with live bait such as worms, maggots, shrimp or imitations such as powerbait. (Applies only to summer season) In part of the Laisälven (Långforsen) only fly fishing is allowed. Catch restrictions: General rules that apply to ALL waters: 2 fish per fisherman/day (does not apply to perch. Of which a maximum of 1 trout. Maximum size: Trout and grayling of 45 cm. (over 45 cm must be released) Maximum size pike 80 cm. Maximum dimensions are used to increase the chances of catching trophy fish in the area, and increase the number of large individuals in the spawning population, which results in higher production. Lower limit of the forsnack at Stensundsforsen, south of Sorsele. Upper border, Sorsele Upper Allmänninngsskog water in Rabnaviken and the County Board's fishing water on the north bank of the Vindel river up to the dividing line at Vindelberga. Participating associations/companies: Sorselefisket Najgar AB, Örnäs Forsnäs SFF, Sorsele Övre Allmänningsskog, County Administrative Board AC, Grannäs Risnäs SFF Fishing rules for the Boat Fishing Card: The card is only valid on the parts of the Vindelälven that are managed by the respective association/company. Fishing with the usual cards of the respective association is not restricted. Children under 16 fish for free. Max 6 rods per boat. Max 1 trout/day/card. Trout over 65 cm must be released back. (Other species no restrictions.) Otherwise, the fisheries legislation applies.
