Nedre Moälvens FVO General fishing regulations Allowed fishing gear One fishing rod may be used at a time Angelfish fishing with hook (not scissors) from ice. Max 10 hooks. A fishing license and valid identification must be carried when fishing. Fishing licenses are personal and must be presented to a supervisor upon request. NOTE: In the event of violations of the rules of the Fisheries Conservation Area Association, an inspection fee may be charged in accordance with the Fisheries Conservation Areas Act (1981:533). Total ban on net fishing, gillnetting and longlines in the fishery conservation area! Closed hours and protected areas: All fishing is prohibited approximately 50 m upstream and approximately 50 m downstream of the lock facility. The fishing limit downstream of the lock is marked with signs, see also the marked prohibited area on the map. It is prohibited to throw bait into this area. This prohibition applies all year round! All fishing for salmon and sea trout is prohibited between January 1 and June 18 and August 1 and December 31. During the rest of the time, i.e. 19 June – 31 July, the following applies: Catch limit and minimum size: A maximum of one (1) salmon or sea trout per day may be caught. The minimum length of 50 cm applies to both species. All fishing for pike-perch is prohibited between May 1 and June 20. Conservation of reproduction areas. All fishing is prohibited throughout the year in the streams of the fishery conservation area and within a radius of 100 m from the stream outlet.
