Öresjö (Munkån, Svensån, Viskan)

Borås-Öresjö FVOF 2 tackles/fishing license is allowed. Allowed fishing methods are spinning, trolling, fly fishing, angling, jigging and trolling. Those who purchase a monthly or annual pass can fish with 10 rods or ice fish with 6 tackle. The minimum size of pike-perch is 50 cm. Zander fishing is not permitted May 15 — June 15. A maximum of two pike-perch over 50 cm may be caught and kept/fishing license and day. Minimum size for trout in Munkån and Svensån is 25 cm. Pike larger than 90 cm may not be caught and must be released. Trout fishing in Munkån and Svensån is not permitted from October 1 to March 31. Free fishing for children under 16 years of age with the same rules as for adults. Gasoline-powered two-stroke engines are prohibited because Öresjö is a surface water source. Viskan vid Mölarps ö Fishing only between 15 May - 15 June Only fishing from shore (Mölarps island) - NOTE no wading. Fly fishing only! PLEASE NOTE that the fishing license no longer gives the right to fish in Pickesjön, Stora Transåssjön, Bålån, Lillån/Kransån, Munkån or Ryssbybäcken.
