Fiskestadsjön/Kroksjöns FVOF Fishing is permitted with hand gear (fishing rod, spinning rod and pimpel) and in winter fishing up to 10 anglers. When trolling, a maximum of 4 rods per boat may be used. A maximum of 3 pikes, within the dimensions of 40-75 cm, should be taken per fisherman per day. Smaller and larger pike should be reintroduced if possible.

The lakes Fiskestadsjön and Kroksjön are part of the Bräkneån water system and are located just east/south of Väckelsång. Together, the lakes cover approximately 525 ha, of which Fiskestadsjön is approximately 500 ha. The average depth is approximately 1,2 metres, with a maximum depth of around 3 metres.Fiskestadsjön is historically known for a good stock of large pike. At Sandgårdslandet in the north-eastern part of the lake, there is an easily accessible launch site. It is also possible to launch a boat at Kåranäs holiday village(access from road 27 approximately 3 km south of Väckelsång). Accessibility for fishing in Kroksjön is limited. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 17. The association's purpose is to coordinate the conduct of fishing and fisheries conservation, to promote the common interests of fishing-rights holders with regard to the provisions applying to the conduct of fishing, and to make fishing available to the public.
