Vänneåns fiskevårdsområde Three children up to the age of 14 in the company of an adult fish freely on the adult's fishing license. Youth groups, at least 8 people up to the age of 16, can receive a 40% discount on day fishing licenses. TROUT FISHING RULES Max 2 noble fish per card and day. Minimum dimensions: length 26 cm. Only fly fishing and spin fishing allowed. Meshing, baited or meshed hooks are not permitted. No fishing in Vänneån during the winter months. See also the fishing license's instructions. (Breach of current fishing regulations) Fishing without a valid fishing license is considered illegal fishing. In case of illegal fishing, the fishing gear can be confiscated. (Failure to take note of the applicable regulations does not relieve responsibility.) If you break any of the association's rules, an inspection fee of SEK 1,000 is payable. Ljungsjön open all year round, spinner and fly, rainbow, trout and char. Vänneån open 1/4-30/9, spin and fly, Perch, Pike and Trout. Other waters open all year round, spin, fly, angling and pimp. The lakes included are Vännesjö, Boasjö, Tranesjö, Lammasjö, Askebodasjön, Hundsjön, Nackasjö, Långasjö, Intagasjön, Kulpsjön, Kåpsjö, Grässjön, Svartasjö, Ingelköpsgölen, Grysshultasjön and Tvättesjö. In Vänneån, fishing is permitted from Vännesjön down to Knæred's lower power plant, with the exception of the stretch in the middle of Sunnedam in Trälshult (Approx. 400 meters). Please note that different types of our fishing licenses are valid in different areas, make sure to buy the right card that entitles you to fish in the right area (Ljungsjön or Vänneån or other lakes)
