Fishing for pike and perch is particularly good in Byasjön. Byasjön has an interesting bottom, with shallows where perch hold and depths and drop-offs where pike lie in wait. Places in the lake have been measured at depths of up to 25 metres. The nature around the lake is beautiful, and there are several places suitable for coming ashore with a packed meal and bathing. It is possible to reverse a smaller boat down for launching, although it is somewhat steep. Simple plastic boats can be hired. Call 070-2214692 Anders Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 16. Hälsjön-Byasjöns FVOF lies on the boundary between Jönköping and Östergötland counties, north of Ingatorp.
