The area included in Mulserydssjön's fisheries management area is estimated at approximately 121 ha. In addition to Mulserydssjön, what is included is Grissleån as well as parts of Sågån and Helgaboån. The eastern and southern parts of Mulserydssjön are built up with holiday cottages and permanent residences. In the western and northern parts, the forest grows all the way down to the lake.The County Administrative Board has carried out a test fishing in the lake and it was then established that there is silver crucian carp in the lake.As this is considered an invasive species, if you catch this fish, do not put it back but take it out. Silver crucian carp resembles bream, but search further online if you want more information on appearance etc. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. The association was formed in 1942 and in 1977 it became a fisheries management association.The purpose of the association is to promote and organise fishing in the water included and to make fishing available to the public through the sale of permits.
