Open official websiteSörsjön and Norrsjön are two shallow lakes, with a maximum depth of around 5 metres, connected by a 50-metre-wide strait. Sörsjön is indented, with many small bays. Perch fishing is very enjoyable in the lakes and kilogram fish are common. Pike weighing around 11–12 kilos have been caught in the lakes. Spinning, float fishing and winter fishing are common. The waters are slightly humic, nutrient-poor and have a combined area of just over 200 hectares. Abundant emergent vegetation grows along the mostly gently sloping stony shores. The surroundings consist of woodland and some marshland and farmland. Unfortunately, there is no boat hire or boat ramp in the lakes, but there are good opportunities for fishing from land. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Norr- och Sörsjöns fiskevårdsområde manages fishing in Sörsjön and Norrsjön, which are two shallow lakes with a maximum depth of around 5 metres.
