Möckeln-Skirsjöns fvof The fishing license applies to fishing with hand gear in the lakes Möckeln, Skirsjön and Norrlången, located in Kinda, Ydre and Vimmerby municipalities. Angling is allowed with 8 don/card. The fishing license also includes a holder's children under the age of 16, in the holder's company. Net fishing and crayfish fishing are not included.

Open source dataMöckeln, Norrlången and Skirsjön are some of Stångån’s headwater lakes. Typical clear-water lakes with depths down to 35-40 m, forested shores with rocky slopes, but also shallow bays. Lakes Möckeln and Norrlången are connected by a canal navigable by a normal boat of the type open plastic rowing boat for 3-4 people. The lakes offer customary inland fishing for pike, perch, whitefish, vendace and roach. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid permit (on that person’s quota). An adult’s permit includes their own children up to 16 years, if fishing takes place in the permit holder’s company. Möckeln-Skirsjön Fiskevårdsområdesförening manages fishing in Lakes Möckeln, Norrlången and Skirsjön. The lake system lies in Vimmerby, Kinda and Ydre municipalities, with the main part within southern Östergötland County. The activities consist of administration and sale of permits, fisheries management measures such as liming and monitoring of water quality etc., as well as organising fishing competitions etc.
