Madsjön is a spring lake with clear water located about 10 km south of Växjö. Here you can fish for pike and perch with great success if you have the right lure. At the southern end of Madsjön is Kristina Nilsson's birthplace Snugge. The Madsjön fishing area association was formed in 1984 to promote fishing in the lake.
