Salen is a beautiful lake in Alvesta and Växjö kommun of about 18 km2. The fisheries management area also includes Igelsjön and parts of Helige Å, Hjortsbergaån, Lekarydsån, Obyån and Opparydsbäcken. See the map for further information.A launching place with a boat ramp is available in the northern part by the treatment plant.Min-Max size for pike 45-80cm all other fish must be released.Min-Max size for zander 45-70cm all other fish must be released.During the month of May all zander must be released.A control fee is issued if the above is not followed (1000:-)A maximum total of two pike and or two zander per permit and day. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Salens FVOF manages fishing in Lake Salen and the river south of Huseby.
