South-west of Allgunnen lies Värmen, a clear-water lake with good visibility that serves as a drinking-water source for Lammhult. The lake has steep, rocky shores and sparse vegetation.Perch fishing in the lake is what makes most people raise their eyebrows, but pike fishing and, above all, fishing for burbot are also good. Värmen is clearly a good alternative to its "big brother" Allgunnen to the east.The lake is relatively shallow, around four metres on average, with a few deep holes extending down to 12-16 metres. Burbot of around four kilos occur in catches from time to time. Particularly in the northern part of the lake there are good pike fishing spots, and spinning is usually the best method for making contact with Värmen's pike. Fishing for perch with bait fish or worms can be very good in summer.Purchasing a permit also entitles you to fish in Lilla Värmen, located west of Stora Värmen and connected to it through a strait. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 18 years. We want fishing in the lake to be rewarding and good. Prepared brushwood shelters give good fishing results. Also so that younger anglers have a fine and good hobby.
