Östergötlands Sportfiskeguidning Östjuten Through a collaboration between Holmen Skog AB, Tvartorps Gård and Svea Skog AB, it is now possible to buy fishing licenses for Lake Östjuten. Fishing may be conducted in the entire Östjuten with the exception of the property Gommersnäs 1:80 - the fishing area is shown on the map of the Östjuten when you buy a fishing license via iFiske.se. Fishing includes angling, pike fishing, simple drag, spin and fly fishing, angling/ice fishing with a maximum of 10 tackle and a roach hut or roach for catching bait fish (but not during the period 1 April - 31 October). Net fishing and crab fishing are absolutely prohibited. The fishing license is valid for the holder as well as the spouse (partner) and children under 18 years of age. The fishing license must be carried when fishing and, on request, presented to the representative of landowners who have leased the fishing water, as well as to other fishing license holders in the Östjuten. Boats may be kept by fishing license holders in the designated place, the boat must be equipped with a tag in the boat's front where the name and telephone number are clearly visible - the boat must be kept locked when it is not in use. The holder of a fishing license may not sell caught fish. The right to fish ceases with immediate effect if the stated fishing rules are not complied with, without the right to recover the fee paid. In order to have good fishing in the East Juten in the long term, the so-called window catch for pike applies - it is only permitted to catch pike that are in the range of 45-75 cm, if the pike is smaller than 45 cm it must be released again, the same applies to pike that is longer than 75 cm, a maximum of 3 pikes per day may be taken up.
