Area 1: Ljungsjön. North-east of Ljungs church, bounded by the road bridge. A dammed section of Motala ström, easily accessible from the bathing place in Ljung. Area 2: Motala ström from the road bridge at Råby to the inlet into Ljungsjön. At Råby there is a beaver lodge; be careful and look after the animals and nature. The area contains one or more “put-and-take” waters with stocked game fish. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 16. Only in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid permit (on that person’s quota) Tekniska verken is a municipality-owned company which, through its ownership, operates a number of hydroelectric power stations. Its ownership includes a number of water areas that are suitable in some places for recreational fishing with handheld tackle.
