Alstern - Lungens FVOF

Alstern - Lungens FVOF consists primarily of the lakes Alstern and Lungen, but also a number of smaller tarns. Alstern is clear and very deep; Lungen is somewhat murkier and approx. 15 m at its deepest. The lakes have good water quality, which has surely contributed to fine stocks of pike and perch. In the larger lakes, a boat, kayak or similar is a major advantage. There are currently no prepared ramps. With a little effort, a boat can be launched on Lungen’s southern shore, near the lake’s outlet. In Alstern, a boat can be launched from the sandy beach at “Tobakshållet”. Note that all fishing in Djäknetjärn has been paused until the association has received a new permit to stock game fish. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 16. Handheld tackle only. Children fish free with handheld tackle up to and including 16 years. However, this does not apply in Djäknetjärn. In Djäknetjärn, all anglers must obtain a fishing permit. Alstern-Lungen FVOF manages fishing primarily in Alstern and Lungen in eastern Värmland.
