Yxesjöarna, Mjögesjöarna m fl vatten

The following waters are available within the fisheries management area: Norra Yxesjön and Södra Yxesjön, Norra Mjögesjön and Södra Mjögesjön, Kölaälven and Nässjön. Salmonid waters: Kuvetjärnet, Södra Svartningstjärnet and Björnetjärnet. The lakes are mainly large forest lakes accessible by many different roads. The nature around the forest lakes can vary greatly, from high vertical precipices to fine forest scenery. Kölaälven, which winds through the area, can vary greatly in water volume; travelling on this winding water is a very exciting experience. The nature around the river changes from arable land/pastureland, forest areas to virgin forest. A nature trail follows part of the river stretch around Koppom. Many different wild animals are found around all the waters. The area contains one or more accessible fishing waters. For more information, see the fishing area's map where these points are marked, or contact Yxesjöarnas FVOF. The area contains one or more "put-and-take" fishing waters stocked with salmonid fish. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 14. Not salmonid fishing. The association was formed in 1990 and works so that everyone can have access to good fishing. The association stocks trout in three waters every year. The association conducts fisheries management.
