There is also a chance of large trout in these rapids, even though they are not as numerous. Trolling during spring/early summer in the larger lakes can also give a chance of large trout. Fly fishing from a float tube is permitted in Långtjärn, where there can be fine fishing for trout and char during the caddisfly hatch.Accessible fishing place/jetty at Mosjön. Good fishing for large pike, especially in late autumn in the lakes in Ljungan.Max 3 salmonids per day and angler applies in Långtjärn! Fishery managementStocking of trout and char, removal of migration obstacles for spawning fish. Survey of fish stocks. Habitat measures in certain waters to benefit trout and grayling.We work particularly to strengthen the natural production of trout through habitat management measures and the establishment of spawning and nursery areas.In summer 2016, with the help of a helicopter, we flew out spawning gravel in Kvarnån Bodsjön and LänsterånIn summer 2019, 200 tonnes of spawning gravel were flown out in Ljungan to improve the opportunities for trout to spawn.The spawning beds appear to have turned out really well; now we hope that the migratory trout find and take a liking to the new beds.
