Lotjärns Miljö- och FVF Lotjärn

Lotjärn is a small tarn where char and trout are stocked almost every summer. Villagers/landowners manage the water in a small association, where the village members have the right to fish all year round but in winter permit outsiders to ice fish.For the public, only ice fishing applies in winter.The tarn is clearly visible from road 305 and is clearly marked with a sign. The water is surrounded by fields and forest. Lotjärn is along road 305, approximately 7 km from ICA in Stöde.Parking is cleared opposite the tarn.There is a barbecue area on the northern shore; you must provide your own firewood. There is one or more "put-and-take" water with stocked game fish in the area. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 12. Only in the company of a parent/guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing permit (on that person's quota) Children under 12 fish free in the company of a parent/guardian. Lotjärns Miljö- och Fiskevårdsförening is a small non-profit association where villagers and landowners manage the water and the village members have the right to fish all year round. Fishing permits for the public are sold during the winter half-year, so ice fishing applies. Day permits are sold. Lotjärn is along road 305, approximately 7 km from ICA in Stöde.
