Welcome to fish in the beautiful Röån, which begins in Betarsjön and winds 25 km down to Ångermanälven. The river offers varied fishing with calmly flowing water for the first 2 Swedish miles and then changes into rapids and pools; here you can catch both grayling and trout. There is a stretch intended only for fly fishing, which you find by travelling over the railway towards Tära-byn, stopping at the bridge and fishing upstream of it. See the map for further information.Svarttjärnen: Easily accessible put-and-take water with stocked fish in a fine small tarn surrounded by forest. There are 5 jetties, a wind shelter and an outdoor toilet. In the area there is one or more "put-and-take" fishing waters with stocked game fish. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 10 years. Only when accompanied by a guardian/adult/person holding a valid permit (on that person's quota) The purpose of the association is to coordinate fishing and fish conservation, to promote the shared interests of fishing-rights holders with regard to the provisions governing the conduct of fishing, and to make fishing available to the public through the sale of permits.
