Sävedalsvattnet Säveåns laxfiske IMPORTANT: For current rules, please refer to Sävedalsvattnet's info folder. On the stretch from the border at Jonseredsvattnet to Ugglumsbron, fishing is permitted from April 1 to September 30. From In 2023, fishing is allowed from October 1st to March 31st from Ugglumsbron to Gamlestansbron with a season pass and day pass! See map of the fishing route. Barbless hooks are recommended for easier unhooking. A maximum of two salmon per season may be retained, after which fishing must be terminated. A maximum of two salmon per day may be caught, including those released. After that, fishing must be stopped. Spawned salmon must be released and spawning colored salmon should be released. Salmon and trout under 45 cm must be released. Female salmon should always be released. Salmon with adipose fins trimmed may not be released but must be retained. It does not count towards the seasonal quota. Fishing is only permitted with spinning rods, reel rods and fly rods. Fishing for salmon and trout is not permitted. Directed fishing for other species is permitted with traditional equipment! Otterdalsströmmen Only fly fishing allowed from 1/4 - 30/9 see map for detailed information. Hooking is prohibited. Supplement 1 Sep - 30 Sep Female salmon and trout are protected during the month of September. Salmon and trout are protected during the period and must be released. Other species are allowed to be fished for. After that, fishing must end for the day. Maximum number of salmon C/R 4, after which you can end your fishing for the season. Show consideration Cultivated land, plots of land, or other fenced areas may not be entered. When crossing pastures, special fence crossings or gates must be used. The area around the Säveån River is sensitive to disturbances of various kinds. Therefore, please act with discretion. The area between Aspen and Kåhögsbron, “Jonsereds strömmar”, is a nature reserve (green line on the map). This applies Anyone who violates the fishing rules will be rejected and may be banned from fishing for the rest of the season. Fishing regulations apply in the event of legal liability and violation may result in additional penalties. If you fish using unauthorized methods, your fishing license will be canceled on the spot and a control fee of 1000 will be issued by our fishing inspectors. Fishing supervision is carried out by Säfveåns fly fishing society and Partille Sportfiskeklubb. Fishing supervisors are provided with a special badge or card. Fishermen are obliged to show their fishing license, identification, gear, bags and catch upon request. Please note that fishing regulations may change during the current season. NOTE: Anglers can introduce temporary fishing stops on the stretches if the water temperature exceeds 19 degrees! On Sävedalsvattnet this applies to salmon and trout. Fishing license The fishing license must be filled in with your name and is personal and may not be transferred. The cards can be purchased online or in store, see the current list at www.sportfiskarna.se/goteborg The Yellow Card is not valid in Sävedalsvattnet. Reporting Information about caught fish must be reported to iFiske as soon as possible or written down on the report list at Otterdalsströmmen (R on the map).
