Tolkens Marks FVOF Mark Tolken

Tolken is a lake extending from Torestorp in Mark municipality down to Kungsäter in Varberg municipality. The lake has varying water depths from shallow bays down to depths of 30m. The north-eastern part of the lake has rich birdlife, with many waterfowl nesting in spring. A boat ramp with large parking area is located at Hjortnäs' festival site. The lake has many good stone-covered places with fine bathing and mooring opportunities. Tolken is a central lake included in a fisheries management project together with surrounding FVOs, where the project aims to bring back sea-migrating trout to the lakes with free migration routes from Viskan and up into our water system. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15 years. Same rules as for ordinary permits. The association's purpose is to * safeguard the interests of water owners. * ensure that sustainable fishing is carried out. * primarily ensure the wellbeing of fish and manage the species in the lake. * provide permits to the public.
