Ljustorpsåns FVO Generally: Fishing within the Ljustorpsån FVO is open to the public when a fishing license is issued. Fishing season: Fishing in Ljustorpsån with its tributaries is permitted all year round with the exception of the period 1 September - 31 December only fly fishing and 15 September - 14 October when all fishing is prohibited. 1 May - 31 May when fishing for grayling is prohibited, if grayling is caught during the ban period, the grayling must be released again. Fishing in lakes and ponds is permitted all year round. Methods: - Fly fishing. - Spinning fishing with different types of lures, wobblers or dab/bombards with 1 fly. - All types of fishing with a baited hook are only permitted in lakes and ponds. - Fishing with or without a pole is only allowed in lakes and ponds. - Only one rod at a time brought from hand is allowed. - Håv may only be used for landing caught with the above permitted gear. - Permitted hook sizes (hook gap measured from hook shank to hook tip) Single hook 13 mm. Double/triple hook 9 mm: - Fishing from a boat or equivalent with the same purpose is only permitted in Aspen, Stavretjärn and Röjesjön. - Fishing from floating rings is, however, permitted in Storsnägden - Other tools, baits and fishing methods are prohibited. Catch Limits: Catches that meet all the criteria according to the table below may be kept. All catches outside these criteria must be released alive as carefully as possible.
