Njurunda Södra FVOF Fishing rules in Put and take water, Åstjärnarna, Orrsjön and Igeltjärn: Maximum one (1) hand tool/person, brought from land or on ice. A maximum of four (4) fish per fishing license may be caught. Max 2 fishing licenses per person/day. It is forbidden to use boats or other floating equipment. However, float rings may be used for fly fishing in Stora Åstjärn and Orrsjön every day of the week. Live bait from other lakes, fish roe or similar may not be used. PowerBait, corn or similar may not be used either. Any use of live or dead fish as bait is prohibited. In the event of a violation of the fishery management area's rules, an inspection fee of SEK 2,000 will be charged. Children up to and including 14 years of age fish for free when accompanied by a paying adult . In Stora Åstjärn and Orrsjön it is permitted to fly fish from a float ring, this must not disturb those fishing from land or piers. In other waters the following applies: In "other waters" angling and trolling is permitted. Generally: Fishing without a valid fishing license will be reported to the police as a violation of the Fishing Act, and the fishing equipment may be confiscated. The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred to another person. The fishing license must be presented upon request by a fishing inspector. Littering is prohibited. In the Stångån River and its tributaries, all fishing is prohibited.
