Sollefteå FVO How is the fishing license valid? Young people up to the age of 16 fish without a fishing license in the area's waters. Issued fishing licenses are valid from time to time or date to date. All fishing licenses are individual. Family licenses have been removed. How many fish can I keep? In waters that hold char/trout/rainbow, the rule is that only three (3) fish/day may be taken regardless of which fishing license the fisherman has, (also applies to children under 16 years of age, they may take 3 fish/day). No extra licenses are sold if you have fished all the way to keep more fish. If the family is fishing on a family card, the adults are allowed to catch 3 fish/day in total. If children under 16 are participating, they are exempt and can keep 3 fish/day. Sea fishing Once you have obtained a fishing license, you are allowed to practice sport fishing in all waters licensed for this purpose. The fishing license entitles you to fishing with a rod from the shore in the waters that we release fish into annually. You may only use one rod and this includes angling, ice fishing, casting, spinning and fly fishing, as well as a drag line mounted on the rod. Lower river fishing Boat fishermen always leave space when landowner fishing is taking place on seine trawls. Boat fishermen make way for fishermen at Hågestabron and along the shores. Fishing is prohibited on the Hågesta Bridge 20 m from the land side to enable boat passage. Fishermen at Hågestabron are allowed to use 2 rods, subject to space availability. A lone boat fisherman is allowed to use 2 rods, 2 fishermen in a boat can use 2 rods each. Max 4 rods/boat when fishing for salmon or sea trout. All jerk fishing with the aim of mishooking fish is prohibited within Sollefteå Fvo.
