Nättrabyåns fvof EXTENT Pool 2 From about 100 m north of the E22 until the northern bridge foundation on the E22. Pool 3 to 5 From the southern bridge foundation on the E22 to the northern bridge foundation at Nättraby church. Pool 6 From the southern bridge foundation at Nättraby church to Åslätten's mooring on the west side and to Vrängö pier on the east side. Fishing from a boat is not allowed PERMITTED FISHING TIMES From the second Saturday in February to the 30th of September from 06:00 to 22:00. Fishing for whitefish is allowed in pools 3 to 6 from the first Saturday in November until 31 December between 08:00 and 16:00. Other dates, all fishing is prohibited. PERMITTED FISHING GEAR AND FISHING METHODS Spinning, flying and record rods. Only one rod may be used and this may only be provided with a bait or a fly. When fishing for whitefish, only a single hook may be used and only fly fishing and angling are permitted. Fly fishing may only take place with a traditional fly rod, plastic ball or the like may not be used. The following pool rules apply: Pool 2 Only spin and fly fishing. Pools 3 and 4 Fly fishing only. During the period for whitefish fishing also angling. Pool 5 Only spin, angling and fly fishing. During the period for whitefish fishing only fly fishing and angling. Pool 6 Only spin, angling and fly fishing. During the period for whitefish fishing only fly fishing and angling. Fishing is only allowed from land or by wading. FISHERIES SUPERVISION The fisheries inspectors are provided with a special mark or identification. Fishermen are obliged to present fishing licenses, identification, gear and catch at the request of the fishing supervisor. CATCH REPORTING Information on caught salmon, trout, whitefish and pike (date, place of catch, weight, length and sex) must unconditionally be provided on purchased fishing licenses. Other catches that are deemed interesting may also be reported. FISHERIES PROVISIONS A maximum of two salmon or trout may be caught per fishing license and fishing day. For whitefish and pike, a maximum of three killed fish per fishing license and fishing day applies. The minimum size for salmon and trout is 50 cm. Pike must be between 40 and 75 cm to be retained. Perch over 40 cm must be re-released. Fish that do not meet the standard must be released back into the river immediately. During the period for whitefish fishing, unconditionally all fish other than whitefish such as; salmon, trout, pike, perch and rainbow trout caught immediately are released. ERROR-HOOKED FISH Tug fishing or other fishing that is conducted for the purpose of hooking fish on the outside is prohibited. Fishermen who break this rule will be rejected immediately. Even unintentionally incorrectly hooked fish must be unconditionally released. Wrongly hooked fish refers to fish that have been hooked on the outside. LAND WITHIN NÄTTRABYÅNS FVOF Cultivated land, as well as plots of land or other fenced-in area may not be entered. Fishing may not be conducted from the private plots bordering the river.
