Ronnebyån's flowing waters through central Ronneby out to Ronneby harbour. Stocks of sea trout, rainbow trout, pike and perch. ... Welcome to fish in the middle of Ronneby city; fishing in Ronnebyån continues all the way out to Ronneby harbour. Restaurant/Café in the immediate vicinity of the fishing. Stocks of sea trout, rainbow trout, pike and perch. We expect you to respect the applicable rules, follow the signage provided and behave in a manner appropriate in nature. As an angler, you of course follow both the written and unwritten rules that apply to all sport anglers. Changed rules for municipal fishing in Ronnebyån Fish in Ronnebyån showed elevated levels of PFAS downstream of Brantafors power station after testing during 2024. The measured level is at a level which, according to the Swedish Food Agency, results in the recommendation that caught fish should not be eaten. For that reason, Ronneby municipality has decided on a change to the rules for municipal fishing in Ronnebyån. From 2025-01-14, only Catch and release fishing is permitted, meaning that all caught fish, without exception, must be released. Only catch-and-release is applied in the area, i.e. fish are carefully released after capture. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 13 years. May fish on an adult's permit when accompanied by the adult. The municipality works for its citizens and to make fishing accessible to the public.
