Welcome to Svärdsjö!Borgärdets Sportfiskeklubb offers fishing in two areas:Area 1, Borgärdesströmmen - Fly fishingArea 2, Aven and parts of Seckan.Here you can buy fishing permits for area 2, Aven and parts of Seckan.Aven and parts of Seckan (Area 2 = purple colour on the map):Area 2 extends from the marked boundaries in Aven (the headland on Brosvedsön) down to the boundary with Boda in Lake Seckan (see map). Fishing within this area may be conducted using handheld tackle (1 tackle/person) and/or with a maximum of 12 set lines/permit. Fishing may be conducted from 1 January to 31 December. For grayling, trout and other salmonids, “No kill” applies, which means that all fish of these species must be returned. It is desirable that barbless hooks are used.The area is close to central Svärdsjö, where shops, places to eat, a pharmacy, etc. are available. If you do not have access to a car, you can reach the central parts of our water via public transport (bus) and a walk of 500 - 600 m. Membership and fishing permits Borgärdets Sportfiskeklubb was formed in 1950 and offers fishing in Borgärdesströmmen, Aven and parts of Seckan in Svärdsjö. The area covers the watercourse from the outlet of Svärdsjön at Lumshedsbron down to the boundary with Boda in Lake Seckan. In parts of the area, only fly-rod fishing is permitted. Fishing is offered both to members and to other persons who have purchased separate permits in accordance with the applicable provisions.
