Tallsjön, Sundsjön, Oreälv m fl vatten

There are around 100 lakes and tarns within the area, covering approximately 1500 ha. At 20 of these lakes there are wind shelters, jetties and toilets. There are also cottages for hire, most directly beside the fishing waters. For fishing in running water, there are mainly five larger watercourses with a length of approximately 75 km. In addition, there are many smaller streams offering exciting coarse fishing. Besides fishing, the area offers rich opportunities for cultural and nature experiences. There are, among other things, five large nature reserves with a primeval-forest character. If you wonder about all the Finnish-sounding names on the maps, these originate from the Finnish colonisation in the 1600s. The Finnish villages now form a picturesque feature of the landscape, recalling a bygone era. There are one or more accessible fishing waters within the area. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 18. Only accompanied by a guardian/adult/person holding a valid fishing permit (on that person's quota). Note! Only up to 15 is in Put and Take waters FVOF managing fishing waters within Orsa Besparingsskog.
