Stora Nedens FVF Boat docking possible between the bathing jetty and the church in Nösslinge. Then park in the church parking lot by the main road. Drive carefully and show consideration! Fishing permits are valid for hand gear, from land or boat. Fishing with nets or fixed installations (e.g. angelfish) is not permitted (exceptions apply to property owners with fishing rights). Fishing is conducted in a water protection area. We encourage fuel-free engines. Two-stroke engines are strictly prohibited.

Stora Neden is a spring-fed lake located 20 km NE of Varberg, in the village of Nösslinge.The lake lies 77 metres above sea level and has been a raw-water source for Varberg municipality since the 1970s. It has a total area of about 2,9 km2. The mean depth &aum ... NOTE! On Saturday 23 Aug. 2025 an event is taking place at Nösslinge church all day, and it will not be possible to use the boat-launching ramp that day (including early morning). The entrance will be closed. On Sunday 24 Aug. it is possible to launch and retrieve a boat as usual. -----------------------Stora Neden is a spring-fed lake located 20 km NE of Varberg, in the village of Nösslinge.The lake lies 77 metres above sea level and has been a raw-water source for Varberg municipality since the 1970s. It has a total area of about 2,9 km2. The mean depth is 20,7 metres and at its deepest the lake is 57 metres deep.Furesjön, Gällarpesjön and Gällsjön are smaller lakes in the area. The lake contains pike, perch, roach, whitefish and tench. Hallandsleden passes Nösslinge, and there are opportunities to camp at the rest area at Gällarp. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 16. The association manages fishing in the lakes Stora Neden, Gällarpsjön and Furesjön in Varberg municipality, Halland. The permit applies to handheld tackle, from the bank or boat. Fishing with nets or fixed installations (e.g. set lines) is not permitted (an exception applies to property owners with fishing rights).
