Torvsjöns FVOF - Torvsjön Peat lake can be fished with fly, spin or baited hooks all year round. Only one rod per fisherman at a time. NOTE! The eel is protected and must be released. Catch of a maximum of 3 pike per day. Sport fishing may only be conducted by holders of a valid fishing license. Fishing from a boat or other floating fabric may be done from 1 July until 31 December.

Torvsjön is situated by national road 25, approximately 1 Swedish mile east of Halmstad centre in the direction of Ljungby, on the left-hand side. Turn in at the sign marked Ön. Torvsjön has sparse rainbow trout, but plenty of pike and perch. Here you can fish with fly, spinning tackle or baited hooks all year round. Only one rod per angler at a time. The lake is popular for ice fishing in winter when the ice conditions are suitable. NOTE! Eel is protected and must be released. Good perch fishing from the ice. Catch of a maximum of 3 rainbow trout and pike per day. Sport fishing may only be carried out by holders of a valid fishing permit. Fishing from a boat or other floating craft may be carried out from 1 July until 31 December. NOTE! Do not confuse the lake with Toftasjön, which is approximately 2 kilometres west of Torvsjön. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 16. Handheld tackle only. We are a state-adjacent fisheries conservation area. The association includes two lakes: Torvsjön and Toftasjön, and is located outside Halmstad, eastwards by national road 25.
