Fishing license is valid for fishing with casting, fly, angling and fishing rods. Annual family pass applies to married and cohabiting couples and children up to 17 years of age. NOTE. Fishing ban in Hörledammen and 200 meters downstream of the power plant. Fishing is prohibited 100 meters upstream of Karlsforskraftverk and 200 meters downstream of the power station. Hörle FVO manages waters in Lagan, Ruskån and Härån. The association's waters include Lagan from the bridge for the new E4 at Tvärbäcken to and including the dam at Karlsfors, Härån from the boundary between Gräshult and Hemmershult, and Ruskån from the bridge over road l27 at Råhult to Härån, all in Värnamo and Vaggeryd municipalities. Exceptions: Härån from the Fryele Kvarn bridge about 900 metres downstream, Lagan from the power station in Hörle 1000 metres upstream and 200 metres downstream, and Lagan from the power station in Karlsfors 100 metres upstream. The photographs were taken in Härån. The bridges are at the Hörle rest area along the E4, just north of Värnamo. This can be a suitable starting point. The other photograph is a view of the river. The surroundings are fairly overgrown, so a canoe is a clear advantage when fishing within the area. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15 years. Since 1992, the association has managed fishing within parts of Lagan, Härån and Ruskån. Its purpose and objective are to promote the shared interests of fishing-right owners, and to make fishing available and promote the public's interest in sport fishing within the area.
