Bysjön-Malmingens FVO Fishing permitted from land, ice and from a boat with hand gear and rod holder. Note the difference in the regulations between the different fishing licenses before you buy a fishing license. Net fishing is only permitted for water owners. If a boat is to be placed permanently in one of the lakes, a boat number must be obtained from the association. There is an entry point in each lake marked on the map here at iFiske.

Two fish-rich lakes with completely different conditions. Bysjön is a shallow and turbid lake; Malmingen has deep and clear water. Plentiful populations of perch, pike and coarse fish. Zander have been stocked in both lakes on one occasion. We would appreciate it if you took the time to complete catch reports when you have been out fishing, so that we can obtain good statistics as a basis for future measures, stocking, etc. Thank you for your help! Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Handheld tackle only. A special family permit is available and required; it includes fishing for children/young people. We are a number of land/water owners who jointly run Bysjön-Malmingens fishing conservation area. Fishing clubs are welcome to arrange competitions with us; see the details under Contacts. As we are keen for children and young people to spend time in nature, we offer free fishing with handheld tackle for those up to 15 years!
