Gränssjöns FVF The general public has the option of purchasing a fishing license (annual and weekly license) which gives the right to rod and pike fishing. Fishing license does not give the right to other types of fishing, such as net and crayfish fishing. The fishing license is personal and applies to family members at the same address. Combustion engines are not allowed in the lake, but smaller electric motors are allowed. Crawfish fishing is only permitted for landowners.

Gränssjön has a size of 0.41 km2 and a depth of approx. 2-5 m. Occurrence of perch, pike, roach and tench. Declining occurrence of signal crayfish, and the association has decided on crayfish fishing ban 2024-2 ... Gränssjön, located in the south-eastern part of Vimmerby municipality, has a size of 0.41 km2 and a depth of approx. 2-5 m. Occurrence of perch, pike, roach and tench. Declining occurrence of signal crayfish, and the association has decided on a break for crayfish fishing in 2024-2025. At Gränssjön there is also a nice municipal bathing place with a long shallow sandy bottom. The swimming area is managed by Spångenäs leisure club. Non-profit association of landowners with the aim of preserving fishing opportunities and the environment around Lake Gränssjön, Tuna Vimmerby. The association has existed since 1959.
