Hummelns fiskevårdsområde General rules: In order to protect Hummeln's fine stock of coarse pike and the newly planted zander, the following rules apply to sport fishing in Hummeln: -Fishing in Hummeln is only carried out as sport fishing for short loosers, whereby only hand gear is allowed. -No fixed tools are allowed -When trolling, only two tackles may be used by each card solver. -Pikes over 1 meter must be released unconditionally. -Gös under 60 cm must be unconditionally re-released. - Crab fishing is not included in the fishing license. -Youths under 15 fish for free. -Do not catch more fish than you use.Fishing for financial gain (sale) is strictly prohibited. - Respect the fisheries inspectors appointed by the county board. - Otherwise, the Fishing Act applies. -Owners of fishing rights have permission to fish with nets and crayfish cages according to special regulations. - The fisheries management area applies a control fee (paragraphs 31-39 of LOFO) in case of violation of current rules.

Hummeln has an area of 540 ha and is located in Virån's water system.It is a very deep lake formed by a meteorite impact. The average depth is 13,3 m, with a maximum depth of 61,5 m. The lake is kn&au ... Hummeln has an area of 540 ha and is located in Virån's water system.It is a very deep lake formed by a meteorite impact. The average depth is 13,3 m, with a maximum depth of 61,5 m. The lake is known for large pike and perch, which often go pelagically. There are 17 different fish species in the lake, of which vendace is the most important species as forage fish for pike and zander. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 14. Hummelns fiskevårdsområde consists of 55 co-owners who lease sport fishing in Lake Hummeln through fishing permit sales. In recent years, the association has devoted itself to strengthening the zander population.
