Silveråns FVOF Many people want to buy fishing licenses on the lower part of Silverån (south of highway 40) towards Emån - unfortunately this part is not included in our FVO. Limits: Lower limit; Övre Åsjön lower outlet north of Göreda Bro/Riksväg 40 (outside Mariannelund towards Vimmerby) Upper limit; the outlet from Boen (eastern outlet) Fishing season: 1/4 - 30/9 Fishing rules in Silverån The fishing license entitles you to fishing with hand gear: spin and fly. NO live baits are allowed in the river. Catches of a maximum of 2 trout/card and day may be taken up. The rules are there to ensure and offer sustainable fishing for stationary trout. The Silverån cannot withstand too much fishing pressure. Feel free to fish Catch & Release so that more fishermen have the opportunity to experience the fine fishing in the river.
