Boskvarnasjön, Lillesjön

Boskvarnasjön is a deep lake with an average depth of 5,5 metres and a maximum depth of almost 30 metres. The water has a somewhat silvery character and is surrounded by beautiful nature with rocky outcrops and forest. The bottom consists mostly of stone.The fish species present are pike, perch, whitefish, zander, roach and burbot. An occasional eel has occurred. Pike and perch are the most common catches. The zander is large in the lake and seldom weighs less than 2 kg. It is therefore somewhat more difficult to catch.As regards lures, spinners in gold and copper and bright colours are the perch’s favourite. Zander and pike prefer wobblers in natural colours resembling roach, whitefish and perch. Pike also readily take silver spoon lures of the Utö and Atom type.In Lillesjön, which is part of Boskvarnasjön, pike dominates. Lillesjön is approximately 14 metres at its deepest. It can be worthwhile getting into Lillesjön on days when the fish are not biting so well in the large part. This is because the pike here seem to have a different feeding period from those in the large part of Boskvarnasjön. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only when accompanied by a guardian/adult Children up to and including 15 years may fish free when accompanied by an adult. Right now. We are working to solve the problem with the removed ramp. We work to preserve and improve fishing in Boskvarnasjön and Lillesjön through various measures such as liming, construction of brushwood reefs, stocking fish etc. The fishing conservation area association was formed in 1980 and consists of approximately 12 landowners/holders of fishing rights.
