An area of Lagaån between 2 power stations. The fishing area is 7 km long, consisting of a hydroelectric dam and a flowing section. Trout and carp have been stocked. Carp fishing takes place in the dam area; all carp must be released. Fishing prohibited at Traryd power station and 100 metres downstream. A new boat ramp is located at the bathing place in Strömsnäsbruk. Launching and retrieval are free of charge. Boats are also available to hire. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 16. Only in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid permit (on that person's quota) Hammarsjöns FVOF is run by Sportfiskeklubben Bottennappet. The fishery conservation area's board consists of landowners and members from the sport fishing club. The area is very accessible from the bank.
